They make great speakers OEM parts for your speakers blow. You are not at all heavy or bassy. They are great for normal everyday listening level. Since then I have returned after switching to a different higher production to meet my personal needs and listening preferences. But above all I will suggest these speakers to those who just want to get rid of your factory speakers blown or replace them with something that will get a clearer sound. JET speaker is measured by the width of the outer cone. This is measured through the house! Do not fit as you expect if you are replacing factory speakers! I recommend sticking with the branded products for the replacement of most of them cost more but worth the money. In addition to greater variety in terms of their application. Like the other reviewers said, the total width is 5.25", including the edge of metal. Not even close to what I needed. Site not to say that they fit into a 2001 Nissan Frontier.
