Excellent affordable speakers at Jasko I had broken the factory speakers (paper or cardboard material) to replace my '97 Integra, so I went to the store to listen to different speakers under $ 100/pair. Polk was DB651s was totally No. 1, but this Pioneer surprise, better than the Infinity and Sony (there are also those under $ 100/pair speaker) sound. Polk had a clear and balanced sound from bass to midrange to high. These speakers were so clear, however, was not balanced. So I decided to sit down, Polk speakers front and Pioneer in the rear. Surprisingly, I could not hear, get to see much difference when driving, probably because of all the noise on the street. TS-G1643R speakers sound 1000x better than the cheap factory speakers - I do not know if you can buy something bad as what they put into the factory. Pros: - Installation was really easy. You need to get an adapter cable to "use" for your car, place the speaker on one side and lift adapter on the other side, then put back the original screws and that's it - the sound is excellent - you can hear good bass and clear sound for both listening to music or radio. - It's so cheap is hard to imagine how you can sell and make money. Pros: - After placing the speakers, the sound may not be what you expect - usually do not get enough bass. After changing the speakers have to use your receiver and equalizer set to sound you like. In my case, I restored the default setting JVC receiver (all "0") and added four db "bass" and-2dB "high." So this is not really a "con" but a note has to do something "extra." For decent speakers to replace cheap factory junk, no competition in this price range of these speakers. 17 of 18 people found this review helpful. Yal speakers very well this is just a great speaker all round Well done. Increases very, very good and nice deep bass. Love them! The efficiency of the speakers you need to seal the speaker the right to maximize. I bought some rugs air conditioner filter foam and cut to fit around the edge of the speakers (I used removable sealing window that feels a lot like Playdoh to seal my face). I used the foam on the edge of the purchased space where it meets the door. Which completely seals the rear of the front of the speaker and the bass increases, at least 30 times, and increases efficiency and life of the speaker. Especially in the door speakers! Supposedly it is "30 Hz" speakers, but they do not say that the response of the speaker to 20 dB at 30 Hz, the cutoff is real 3 dB 90 Hz depending on the reaction of the graphics package on the package when you are on looking for bass, forget it with this speaker. Good mid and high frequencies, however. All 47 customer feedback ....
