These are surface mount speakers, so that they are not as deep as 6.5 normal. "I was worried that this might affect her deeply, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The highs and mids are clean and articulated right off the bat. First of all, the low end was disappointing, but after a week of normal use for travel, stopped and down filled end well. They do not shake the door panels, but the music sounds good and complete. Being relatively inexpensive speakers, have worked well. In addition, these systems are ideal for low power. I 've just short of Replacement Sony receiver with 17 watts RMS 4 I bought the speakers because they are so sensitive. 92dB and evaluated 2-35 watts RMS, 180 Watts peak. I'm very much at JSchwartz these speakers to replace the factory front door speakers in my 1990 Honda Accord. I have noticed a marked improvement in the bass and clarity. My music sounds better than ever before. With these measures, my 3-year-old Alpine SPS-17C2 in the backs, and a Kenwood car radio I have the bass I need, no subwoofer needed (and yes, I enjoy nice bass). The car speaker covers in the front doors do not allow much air flow (I think they are meant to be very robust to protect against kicks) so that the high frequencies did not come through very well. I think the car is to blame, not the speaker. My music still sounds great. These speakers provide good sound for the money. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful.
